CDA Closed Starting Mon, July 21st

IMPORTANT: WORK ON 54, SLE ENTRANCES

Hello, @everyone. I’m sure you’ve noticed all the road construction on Highway 54 and that asphalt is going down now.

We’ve been saying that, as part of this project, Idaho Transportation Dept (ITD) will be bringing our main entrances at CDA and St. Joe up to code.

ITD owns 80ft from center of the highway into SLE, so we’ll tie into their upgrade as well as we can with the budget we have. Yes, I’ve confirmed this will include drainage, among other improvements.

Currently, we expect Highway 54 traffic will reroute this Friday, July 18th, to use the new road going east. CDA entrance will then close for 1-3 days starting on Mon, July 21st. So, please use St. Joe or back entrances through Treeport.

Updates will be provided as needed. More to follow on St. Joe after CDA is done.

See the map where I’ve marked St. Joe and the Treeport entrances. I know this will be an inconvenience, but it won’t be for long, and we really need this work to be done. So, thanks in advance for your patience and understanding.

Also, if you’re behind on your dues, now is the time to send a check. We need all owners to pay dues to cover regular maintenance and approved projects including the tie-in to our new entrances.

If you have questions about your bill, this isn’t my department, but you can reach out to treasurer@spiritlakeeast.org.

If you have questions about the work on our entrances, please email me at roads@spiritlakeeast.org. Thanks.
