Another Rock Project

Hi Everyone - With rain forecasted for today, we planned to execute on the next pre-approved road base distribution project, which was mentioned in the spring newsletter.

So, the Road Crew trucked-in and distributed 20 loads of rock today (premium granite from Basin), then graded.

The main focus was on improvement of both the entrances to Treeport in prep for the CDA and St. Joe entrances to be upgraded by IDT in June, and potentially earlier in May. So, we need to be ready to lose access to one main entrance at time during that period, and while our crew collaborates with IDT on the tie-ins to those roads.

The Treeport entrances have been in need of work regardless but we wanted to be sure to address each before many more people begin to use them. Moving forward they’ll also be more easily graded and maintained now with additional base down.

Remaining rock was distributd today and more grading done on the most in-need spots along the back of CDA and St Joe.

We are working to get ALL the roads graded for summer while we still have some moisture in them. Please let me know if you have any questions. I can be emailed at roads@spiritlakeeast.org and will report updates to all as needed.
