ROAD REPORT: Fri, Jan 23rd, 12:30pm

Good afternoon, Spirit Lake East. The usual spots on our roads were getting slick so our Road Crew sanded again yesterday (Thurs, 1/22). They finished at about 4pm.

It will remain cold over the next few days so that sand should keep through the weekend. But we’ll continue to monitor the roads and reports you send to be sure we have enough coverage where needed.

Please continue to drive slowly and cautiously out there. Many are still speeding, and it’s dangerous, especially in these icy conditions and changing temperatures.
