Water	Water for SLE is provided by the Spirit Lake East Water Company, operated by Water Works Water and Waste Water Management in Rathdrum. Emergency: Call 929-1045 for outages and other emergencies. At night, follow the instructions on the answering machine. For billing and general questions about water service, call 1-877-755-9287. You call will be returned within 72 hours. Suggestion from your water company: Avoid plowing snow over the meter box. It is the only place where you can cut off water to your home in an emergency. Solid Refuse Disposal	Panhandle Waste Service provides weekly pickup at homes in SLE. Call 208-683-1777 or 208-818-2821 (Cell phone). Public dumpsters are available at several locations. These sites will take household trash. They do not accept hazzarous waste or construction debris. Natural Gas	Avista is working on a project to bring natural gas to the Spirit Lake area. All inquiries should be addressed to 1-877-GAS-TEAM, (1-877-427-8326). The people who answer that number are trained to handle these inquiries.
